This Privacy Policy explains what information Lighthouse Voyages collects across lighthousevoyages.com, our Careers page, and LV Wayfinders — and how we use, share, and protect it.
This Privacy Policy describes how Lighthouse Voyages LLC ("Lighthouse Voyages," "LV," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you visit lighthousevoyages.com, submit a form, apply for a role, or join or use LV Wayfinders and our related services (collectively, the "Services").
This Policy covers our full ecosystem — the marketing site, the Careers page, our contact and newsletter forms, and the paid LV Wayfinders community, including membership billing. By using the Services, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.
This Policy applies to lighthousevoyages.com and to the information we collect directly in connection with LV Wayfinders membership, Careers applications, contact form submissions, and newsletter sign-ups. It does not cover the practices of third-party platforms we use or link to (such as Skool, our payment processor, or thewayfindercommunity.lighthousevoyages.com's own hosting), which have their own privacy policies governing your use of those platforms directly.
We use the information we collect to:
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the Site functioning (for example, remembering your session), understand how visitors use the Site, and, where applicable, measure the performance of our marketing. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may affect some Site functionality. We do not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals, as there is no common industry standard for how to interpret them.
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services, maintain business records, meet legal and tax obligations, and resolve disputes. Careers application materials for roles you weren't hired for are generally retained so we can consider you for future openings, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. You can request deletion at any time as described in Section 8.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information, including limiting internal access to personal information to team members who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and any applicable authorities as required by law.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. California residents may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and residents of the European Economic Area, UK, or Switzerland may have additional rights under the GDPR or equivalent laws, including the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. We do not sell personal information, so there is no "sale" to opt out of under CCPA.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at [email protected] with your request. We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests, and some information may be retained where required by law (for example, records needed for tax compliance).
The Services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at [email protected] and we will delete it.
When you apply for a role through our Careers page or submit a general application, we use your information to evaluate your candidacy, communicate with you about the role, and, if you're not selected, to consider you for future openings unless you tell us otherwise. We may share application materials internally with the hiring team involved in the relevant venture. We do not use applicant data for marketing purposes.
Lighthouse Voyages operates in the United States, and information you provide may be processed and stored in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. If you access the Services from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in a country with different data protection laws than your home jurisdiction.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page, and for material changes affecting how we handle your information, we will provide additional notice where reasonably practical (for example, by email to active members). Your continued use of the Services after a change becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
